Middenbok te laag
Middenbok te laag
Ben bezig met de aankoop van een GL1000 K3 die erg laag bij de grond blijft staan als deze op de middenbok staat. De bok lijkt wel goed althans niet verrot maar wel wat roest.
Het lijkt alsof de motorfiets iets te ver doorschiet wanneer deze op de bok wordt gezet, zit hier een aanslag voor aan het frame? heb deze niet kunnen ontdekken.
Tevens komt de bok tegen de uitlaat aan de linkerzijde, zou ook te maken kunnen hebben met een aanslag of anders zou deze ontzet kunnen zijn.

Ik geloof niet dat deze motor een goede middenbok heeft. De bok wordt altijd tegen gehouden door een soort nok.
Als je die niet ziet is er iets mis.
Is dat diezelfde motor met een klapperende ketting.

Een aanslag/nok lijkt me idd ook normaal, kon deze niet ontdekken maar ken GL's ook niet goed.
Heeft iemand misschien een foto van hoe dit eruit hoort te zien?

Alternatively, if the frame member is paper thin: you’ve got a potential disaster awaiting you, so if it is really suspect: stick away with the knife. If it’s that bad and that questionable, and the owner gets huffy: walk away. It’s your life, not his, that is in question.
